We are an amateur theatre society producing musical shows.
Founded in 1922, we are based in South West London, specifically, Wimbledon, Cheam and Sutton.
We usually put on two productions a year around May and November. We believe in producing popular, accessible theatre for all members of the community to enjoy. Our auditions are open and new members are always welcome.
Rehearsal Venues:
Lyric Players regularly uses a number of different halls for rehearsals, auditions and concerts. Here are the most commonly used ones followed by maps to their locations:
- The Guide Hut, Cheam is our usual Tuesday and Sunday rehearsal hall
- St. Elphege's Hall, Wallington is our current Thursday rehearsal hall
- St. John's Hall, Wimbledon was previously our Thursday rehearsal hall
- Christchurch Hall, Raynes Park/Wimbledon is where we usually perform our concerts
- St Alban's Church Hall, Sutton is sometimes our auditions venue
